1) On the backplate.
2) Personal choice really. You wont need anything really big.
3) Primary has a wrist strap which is shite. Its not elasticated so it loosens at depth and swivels around your forearm. Replace it with bungee. The secondary can be clipped off, or if you want ISC can send you some strap mounting bands so you can mount this on your wrist also.
4) You can clip the bottom of the CLs to a waist D ring on either side a-la Cedric Verdier - If you do a search for his posts I think you will find it.
