I started using a dolphin, then i added a kiss valve to go to CCR. I abused this unit in every immaginable way (i had to buy the aluminum shell from New Zealand because i broke the original).

When i decided to buy the kiss i needed something to go deeper and longer that what i was doing with my Dolphin ccr. And i needed something very strong, simple to repair, and with the possibility to fix it by myself with very simple tools. The classic looked to my more robust, simple, "clean" and easy to fix.

I discovered that the assistance is unbelivable, they do care about what you need and they try really to help you (Mrs. Kim saved my holiday sending me spare parts before receiving my payement, i really was amazed).

I traveled with it to La Paz, Baja California, it fit in an 30 year old samsonite that i had (for some strange reason, the italian airways apply a surcharge on your luggage if they see that is a scuba equiment: no more "scubapro" or "mares" marked bags for me). And in Mexico i found available only 5 liter steel bottles.

Moreover i have at home a lot of dolphin 4/5 liter bottle to use. They fit perfectely on the classic (here in Italy is not so easy to find oxygen in the small island that are the best places to dive, so you have to bring with you all the gases you need, with a CCR it is not so a big challenge, anyway).

In short, the classic fits quite good the need of my diving habits and possibilities. The sport would have not be a so big improvement from my previous dolphin ccr to justify to spend the money to buy one.
