I have just scheduled Boris Training for March 15-22 with Gregg Stanton of Wakulla Diving . I have a bit of time now (until late December) before I will have to empty the bank account! I cannot wait! Any comments on training with Gregg? I am planning to go with Golem Gear Wing and SS butt plate (The Boris logo overload is already giving me a headache and I haven't even received my own yet!) Im gonna order the rig with hydrophobic membrane, flight case, spare o-rings and for later on down the road the FFm kit. Comments welcome.. criticism frowned upon Thanks guys for the wealth of knowledge I have received on these boards and threads. You guys are totally awesome and an inspiration to me!!! CAnt wait to see you all bubble free with a serpent on my back!
Congrats on your decision. Nver met Gregg so can't comment on training with him, but I know Kevin is selective about who he allows to teach on the units

As for the unit itself, like others above, I'd suggest diving it stock first and deciding for yourself if you want to change anything. When you think about the time and cost of R&D for any rebreather, there's probably a good decision for why things are the way they are. One of the things I liked about the Ouroboros was that everything on it seemed designed for a reason and the cost was a secondary consideration. enjoy!
