While I'm convinced that the image on the Hollis website front page is indeed a "photoshopped" X scooter, the scooter that Hollis had on display at DEMA is not an X Scooter, or Re badged X scooter.

The X uses a brushless DC motor and in a slightly smaller package offers similar thrust and burntimes at ~36 lbs ready to dive.

The Hollis scooter continues to use the Oceanic / Mako brushtype motor, and is spec'd at 60 lbs.......
