I use a 15l (no idea what that is in cu ft :-( for dil. I did the same calculations as you and wondered whether it would be worth using as a sort of bank. Tried it anyway and the upshot is yes. What I didn't think about, cos I'm new at this game, is that you don't drain your cylinders like you did on OC (or at least you won't once you've got a bit of experience).

I used my 15 filled with 21/35 last week in Scapa. Started with 210 bar. I never needed to top my dil bottle up from less than 140 bar, so after 4 tops, I was still at 160 bar or so. I'd have been happy to carry on and take it down to 120 or 130 bar, which would have given me another 4 or 5 tops, as I was only using 30-50 bar on each dive.
