Re: Swagelok Threads

Cheers, Dave. Unfortunately McMaster no longer ship to the UK as it would have been my 1st stop otherwise. The Swagelok valves are around $80US at UK prices.

Anyway, after an hour of head scratching last night I think I've come up with the solution:

- on the downstream side, I've got a 1/8 tube to 1/4 NPT adaptor so to make the KISS hose fit I'm putting on a female NPT fitting with a tube adaptor on the other end. Remove the nut and ferrule for re-use and screw the stem on to the KISS hose.

- on the upstream side, I've got a 1/8 tube to NPT-F adaptor on there. So I've added a male NPT fitting with a tube stub on it. Use the nut and ferrule to hook that on to the KISS valve.

In theory...

I need to pick up the extra parts tomorrow so I'll see what the reality is.

Cheers,

Stuart
