Re: 147m on Pelagian

Hello,

the water temp was 27c at the top getting down to 18/19 at the bottom...all quite pleasant. I wore a 5mm wetsuit and occasionally a hood. Ive done the bottom in a 3mm suit in the past but it was nadgers chilly

The needle valve could be used to set a steady flow for longer bottom times but im just using it on the longer deco stops and also to offset hypoxic dils at/near the surface...the rest of the time i hit the manual add as and when. Once im shallower than say 10metres i start to wind the valve open and by 6m its fully open backing off again at 3m. If im wearing the twinset/Rebreather ensemble i turn the dil valve off during the ascent to save setpoint fiddling some. I might patent the RB/OC design calling it ReBoC - do you think anyone will mind?

Andy from Rebreatherlab has a booth at DEMA and i will be there too...if you want a demo of the unit...drop by

cheers

Mark
