Re: 147m on Pelagian

Hello,

The stop was here because the model called for it! (AB2 model) In my NSHO the stop is plenty deep enough

In a nut shell - First stop depths (the initial deco ceiling) are produced by depth/time profiles modified by ascent rates and po2's used during the dive...these then modify a series of theoretical tissues each subsequently governed by its own maximum overpressure...the model in use here uses a slightly different approach which i havent the time to explain at the mo, apologies. I think there are some interesting books on the matter you may wish to peruse, likely there are some deco experts on this list who could advise you in detail too.

I have a coupla Q's for you too to help me complete the picture

on what basis would you have neccesitated stopping deeper?
is this based on practical or theoretical experience?

The conditions on the wreck are pretty nice, a subsequent visit to film the bell revealed it had been moved by some cheeky chappies or maybe some wreckage had fallen on it...i suppose though if i had a crystal ball id be looking for lottery numbers

cheers
