Glad you're OK. Kudos for sharing. Anything that can go wrong sooner or later will. I had a similar incident at 45m, battling a current. I took the 'beam me up Scottie' option and headed up and out of harm's way. My takeaway was that the WOB on a Meg is better than many RBs but a shed load worse than a reg, so I'd better use mix shallower in future if there's danger of currents. I'd be interested to hear how shallow other people are using mix.
