Hey, they work sometimes!!!!

When they do, they're great. I love mine to bits. It just works, and I just keep making sure that it does.

You can strap it on and do whatever you feel like doing. Want to stay longer? No problem. You'll have enough gas.

You're no longer a slave to your SPG. Your new master is your deco computer, and whatever it is which gives you your PO2.

Who could ask for more?

Yep, people seem to forget just how good CCR's are at keeping you alive more so the deeper we go.

I have the attitude of if i look after my box will look after me. Yes there are failure points that know one can predict happening (if & when) but i can cover these to my best of knowledge be that servicing wise or redundancy. My job is to keep that box ticking along above and below water and it will take care of me.

i love my unit also, it allows me to do dives i could not do on OC or if i could they would be a lot harder work, above and below water.

And yes there is nothing better than even a nice shallow dive in pure bubbleless silence, i deffo feel more at one with the ocean on CCR than i ever did on OC, magic

There are some down sides to CCR over OC but the plus points deffo out way them IMHO.
