I too love my New (to me) CCR. I've just run up >26 hours and I'm now getting comforable with it and I have no regrets whatsoever about the 'upgrade'
I have read about the dangers thought I don't get bogged down with them, and I feel the more I know about the subject the safer I can be, being informed about them.
I'm looking forward to getting more experience and enjoying my CCR even more.
