I am very sad to hear of this.
Sven was actively engaged in some of the rebreather safety work. His PMs showed a deep concern for safety. He came across as a very principled, and passionate gentleman.
My heart goes out to Sven's family and close friends at this terrible time.
The actions of his buddies in doing their best, at considerable risk to their own lives, deserve our great respect.
