Your an undergrad, at school, and want to spend a whole lot of time diving a rebreather, because...
A CCR and the time it can takes to maintain isn 't going to keep your GPA up.
My suggestion is to stay at school, use the funds to finish school, rather than spend your weekends with a CCR, and then have a look at what's around then. For sure the technology will have changed. Invest the $$$ and you'll have more funds to play with. In the meantime, go diving and build up experience and skill. Learn about rebreathers somewhere other than TV. Learn enough to get scared by what can happen if you treat it like many 18 year olds treat driving a car.
Lastly, while being the pot calling the kettle black, I would pose your questions so others on the forums want to respond, rather than demanding a response. It just comes across as so troll-like.
I can't sit back and watch you guys have all of the fun. I am trying to get started with CCR diving before I transfer to James Cook University in Townsville, Queensland to major in marine biology! I will not let diving interfere with my schoolwork in anyway. Im just trying to have fun like you guys. I look up to you all.
