I use the stand on my Kiss unit, which is a little different from yours, but find the D rings are in the right place for putting sling cylinders and getting them in a smilar position to the Armadillo kit.
Looking at the Boris stand could you clip your stage cylinder off to one of the vertical legs. That way the cylinder is secured in approximately the same position as the Armadillo kit?
