| Hello from New Jersey! Greetings, Rebreather World.
My wife and I have been diving OC since 1994. We've had some technical and cave training, but don't engage in anything beyond recreational diving at this time (with the occasional "extended safety stop"). We enjoy wreck diving off the New Jersey coast, and get to dive the wrecks off North Carolina and in the St. Lawrence from time to time. We go someplace tropical as often as we can, which lately has not been often enough!
We do enjoy UW video and photography, which is one of the reasons we're considering switching from OC to CCR.
We see Megladon, Inspiration and KISS rebreathers more and more on the boats here. That's quite a change from just a couple of years ago, when only rarely would we see an Rebreather, and then it was virtually always a Uwatec/Drager SCR.
I've been reading the forums here over the last couple of weeks, and have found it very interesting reading, and quite informative. My thanks to all of you who have been discussing so much about these devices, and in considerable depth (no pun intended!). I hope one day I'm experienced and informed well enough to make my own contributions to the forums.
