Thanks for the heads up on the water bags, I may go that route if I don't find an alternative solution.
you have to have plenty of holes to allow water to freely pass in and out (perforated plate?) but for reasoning see above.

bags are 12 bucks

Having said that best WOB with bmcl i have found to be when its still 'OTS', ie the T pieces are in same position as before. Most of breathing occurs at the top (ots) part so hard case in this method will only help a bit to ensure available max breath vol potential is retained in rest of Cls behind when wing fully inflated. Another way is to add a spacer so BP is pushed away from wing.
