Has anyone here had any dealings with customs in Australia?

I sent a package (from New Jersey) to a member in West Perth last month and USPS tracking shows the package in customs since the 18th of last month! I started a trace with USPS but that will take 23 days...

I hoping that the Aussy's are just slow
