Thanks for confirming that Steve. My sources say that there is a bailout feature that launches a "buddy", insures your respiration, and performs an ascent according to VPM or RGBM.

I would never want to correct you, but I think the GPS feature is only activated if the "buddy" does not find a surface rescue vessel within a diver selectable time. I think the only snag holding things up is movie rights. Hope the source is credible.
