Past all of that, there's good stuff to be had in the book. The actual printed version is a good reference.

I've got another gem, from EBay: "A Trawler Captains Medical Reference". It's circa 1926, and is the book taken aboard by the old North Sea trawlers. All I can say is.... you didn't want to get hurt out there. Instructions for field amputation aboard a trawler... well, I guess at least they had lots of sharp knives. Hiden in all of it are some real tidbits though.
