I'm new to this forum but I saw the thread title and knew which accident it would be referring to before I opened the thread itself.

The official United States Coast Guard report was released earlier this year, and revealed deficiencies with the plan, training, supervision, and equipment.

Lt Jessica Hill was a good friend of mine. I have spoken to other friends of Jessica's as well. While we will never know for sure exactly what happened under the ice that day, we have been able to agree on what we believe happened.

One day in the future I will join Jess on the big reef in the sky and when I get there she will receive a bloody big hug.

We all miss you Jess.
