DONT USE Lithium 9v without CAREFUL consideration

Lithium Batteries have one very big problem: they off-gas much more than any other type of battery, even more than lead-acid. So, (if I remember right) they should not be used in sealed environments. They may increase the internal pressure to the point of causing damage, and the gas they create may be caustic or flammable. Now, BEFORE you get too excited about these concerns, let me caution you further: I am not sure I am right about this, they are just vague memories from my days at Pelican Products, where I was a design engineer, and we decided that we could NEVER use lithium batteries in the sealed, underwater flashlights. Please research this concern carefully BEFORE you try a lithium battery in a sealed environment.
