Justin,

I run the SK7 in the DSS Bungee mount and have one bungee at my wrist the other is over the 2nd and 3rd fingers. That puts it on the back of my hand. It does not intefere with other items above the wrist.

I run my light in my right hand and compass on left. If you put light on left then put compass on right.

Another option is to put the SK7 on the SK7 retractor mount and use it that way. Though its not very "techie".
