if there is sufficient current the wattmeizer solenoids will definately fire with voltages below 5.2v.. the solenoids are rated for about 100ma drive at 6v, if you drop the voltage down the current requirement goes up.. on a test bench the lowest voltage combined with the highest pressure I was able to get a solenoid to trip was at 450 psi ( 3x the rated pressure) and 4.2v... I found regardless of the pressure around 4v was the minimum voltage I was able to get solenoid to trip.. Running the Oxygen IP at 100 PSI would consume alot less power than running it at 150psi, and would trip at a lower voltage on weak batteries.


The JASKA solenoids have a smaller orifice so they have a higher pressure rating so at similiar IPs the jaska would take a bit less power, but if you were to try and match the flow rates, you would have to jack up the pressure on the JASKA (and therefor the current draw)...
