the battery is good for hundreds of hours of diving, even with the back light on the whole time!!!
keep in mind that you can get just the shearwater HUD display for the Copis, without having to get the GF. If you already have a constant po2 computer, simply adding the HUD to go with the stock handset would be a very nice option. keep in mind both the GF and HUD keep their callibration after powering down...the stock Copis handset requires Callibration each time it's turned on. The Shearwater HUD can be ordered with the correct fitting for one of the Copis's ports and the Molex connectors can easily be slipped in place with the stock handset connnectors...very nice piece of Kit!
