Welcome to Rebreather World, there are quite a few SCR diver on here, and you can always ask for advice.

Do's and don't's of rebreather diving:

DO make sure your unit is working properly.

DO build up your experience carefully.

DON'T skip your pre dive checks.

DON'T be a hero.

The Submatix in SCR or CCR form looks to be more flexible than the Dolphin, but the Dolph is still a great unit.

Pop in to the SCR forums to have a look around and ask how Dophin and Submatix divers dive their units.
