| Re: Mystery Mil O2 Rebreather? It is not a rebreather. It is an armored vehicle escape breathing apparatus that is designed to be used with standard issue Czech military gas mask. It works like an old double hose system, breath in and breath the gas out of the exhaust port of the mask, or more likely through the bad seal on top of the mask (personal experience).
The round brass thing is a regular first stage - reduces from 30MPa to 10MPa.
The square brass thing is an inflator for the vest. Pull on the string with plastic ball and inflate the bc. Warning, there is no deflate button, only OPV!
The image on page 213 is a second stage.
Port on the manifold is a G 5/8" thread, whatever that is. |
