Re: Mystery Mil O2 Rebreather?

Jakub, you are right, it does not appear to be an O2 unit or a CCR unit for that matter. Still, it is a somewhat interesting piece of equipment with some unique features & a potential for some components to be reused in a homebuild, etc. Here is the URL to the Czech language webpage that describes the device, as well as a link to the manual. Webpage: Strany potápìèské - vše o potápìní - Záchranný pøístroj ZP-10. Manual: http://www.stranypotapecske.cz/vystroj/zp-10.pdf. If I could ask a big favor, but only if you have the time, could you look @ the links above & tell me what the the circular brass device on the bottom of the 2nd stage is supposed to do? It is the last picture on the webpage & also referenced on pages 213 & 214 of the manual. Also, the manual shows the fill port on the mainfold to be G 5/8", it appears to be a DIN valve but I cant tell for sure. I'm hoping you might know. Thanks in advance for any help on this. Here is a better picture.
