I've recently acquired one these escape rebreathers and soon hope to have some shallow fun with it. Perhaps one of you can advise me ... did you strip the whole thing down to make sure the important bits were O2 clean, i.e. the on/off lever valve and bottles etc. With the bottles and the narrow necking between the cascades how can you be sure the tanks are properly dried if washed and won't corrode ..... or did you just assume they were ready to go?
