My wife had very bad luck with her evo because of a repeated solenoid problem, which was finally replaced. Unfortunately by then we had lost use of the unit at critical times at the beginning of two major trips in a row. Even though the solenoid was totally replaced, She was already nervous about eCCR's from the beginning, this just sinched it for her. Her ultimatum was pretty much that we both sell out units and try another brand that we can fix in the field or she stops diving.
I have really enjoyed my diving on the Evo and am very conflicted about selling it, but i have also become very intrigued with mCCR's, at least from an intelectual level, so we are going to give the Copis Meg a try and see if it's all it's cracked up to be.
If my wife had not come to her ultimatum, I would be happily fitting my evo with a travel frame and plumbing in a shearwater on a 4th cell. But these things happen in life.
Anyway, my unit is in great shape, fresh back from it's annual overhaul with new o2 cells and all, and since i'm buying another unit right away i'm letting it go at a great price. I can send additional photos if you'd like and provide the serial number so that you can verify it's maintenance record, age and all with SDS/AP.
