I had the chance to test out the foam base today, it really is a fantastic bit of kit. Kitting up is easier due to the increased height but the biggest improvement was to my in water trim. I can now dive boris in a horizontal position rather than the usual "seahorse" positioning, I am very very glad I bought one and would recommend it to other Boris owners.
