Hey, I was just surfing around and found this great forum! It's just what I need inasmuch as I'm in the gradual process of upgrading from SCR to CCR. This summer I'm getting a CCR compatible backplate/harness, this fall I'm going to get my advanced nitrox, and hopefully this winter take the class on CCR, probably in the pacific northwest. In the meantime I'll try to learn from all of you what I can. Have used the Draeger SCR to observe underwater wildlife in Papua New Guinea and in the waters around Cocos Island and am hooked on rebreathers for this use. Currently am drawn to the Meg Copis. Glad to be part of this forum! |
