On average the Sofnolime reached .5 CO2 in 15 minutes and the cartridge reached .5 at 245 minutes.
The fact that the cartridges can be pre-loaded without dusting and loosness created from the vibration, that your average oxen and sherpa can generate, made it an even more obvious choice--try pouring some granules into a canister at minus 25C with 50 mile an hour wind. Of course you don't have to spank the canister...you just shiver!
