Not sure if this is directed at me, but...
I didn't mean to imply that you did have an affiliation. I simply mean that people should contribute because there's value here that they would pay for and do so out of their own sense of good will. Not because "all the cool kids are doing it" or there's a Rebreather World telethon.
Without wanting to pat myself on the back too hard, I'm pretty sure I started the 'non-advertiser/supporting member' status here on Rebreather World (Ask Stuart, he'll confirm either that's true or I'm full of shit).
With that said, I would prefer it if my "contributing status" was invisible.
