nl_carey is an unknown quantity at this point
I'd check out the different options available, if you are after cheap, it can be really worthwhile to try and catch a second-hand inspiration deal (beware, they seem to go fast) rather than a KISS. It gives you electronic control and OTS counterlungs much like the Meg, as well as a good support base in the UK.
Bear in mind though, I dive a Sport KISS, mainly because:
a) back-mounted counterlungs (don't like the feeling of OTS, even though WOB is better)
b) simple (it is so easy to maintain)
c) small (doesn't look it in photos, but the drag in the water is in between a single and twinset, unlike most other Rebreather's which [at least stock] are worse than twinsets)
I've also gotten accustomed to the unit now, and I like the fact that it really doesn't do anything weird on you. Talking and diving with ECCR divers though, they really have quite a lot less to do during the dive, and the computer automatically handling stuff in a nil-vis situation seems to be comforting.
