with a 1400$ dollars we can kiss oriface any Russian rig out there, including electronics and purchase. Just ask Dave. If you truly want to build your own from scratch then plan on about 2000$ including screw ups and a bucket full of parts, that don't fit anything.

Your definition of safety will be your budget limiter.

so as you see i have three thousand dollars in a home built.

it equates to most 8000 to 10000 dollars units that are out there so you might say that i saved 5000 $ but did i, i can not take it on vacation. i can only dive it of private boats. And i can not get certified on it.

Go work the overtime and buy a used kiss, get your ticket on it. And then play with it.
