Re: Pressure gauges

I know this has been discussed in other threads previously... but really ends up being valid for rebreathers where gas volumes are small and extremely precious.

I'm still diving SCR but last weekend I aborted my second dive as I popped the O-ring out of the Draeger Pressure Gauge. I must of knocked it loose when I took the rig off after the first dive... it was a real bummer... I fixed it immediately once back on shore but we were shore diving on a wreck quite a ways off the beach... so we ended up calling it a day.

I'm personally leaning more and more towards the Wireless Pressure transmitters (less to get caught on and no hose to fail). I currently have 1 for my VT PRO but I think 3 for O2 / Dil / Bail Out all tied into a VT3 is potentially a great set-up and really stream lines the rig.

I just don't like not knowing what the pressure is in all my tanks.
