It is an excellent method for running the Rebreather in SCR mode.

Having 2 means of adding diluent to the loop is a sensible idea - think KISS.

If I were to use the Rebreather for cave diving then I would add one of John's remote addition system (you only need one IMO).

Personally, I use a BOV which can also extend my bail out gas (bottom mix) in the similar way. Works for me.
