Anyone tried this or even seen one live?
I like the idea with very little airspace in the top and more in the bottom to help the trim.

Hi Rodge, you're right, any CCR wing is better off with the least amount of volume at the top. But, since most CCRs are shorter than an OC setup and have much more positive bouancy up top, it's best to keep the volume at the bottom of the wing out to the sides, not at the very bottom where it will get pinched while stowed on deck and also make stowing it less easy/stable.
I looked around for a long time to find another wing for my unit, one which was compact and had minimal volume up top. I went with the Zeagle 37lb elastic wing as per Oz Chris's recomendation. I wish it had some more elastic/retractors to pull in the widest points when empty, but I did have the most perfect horizontal trim ever with this wing, even in 5 ft of water. Hardly ever had any gas in it of course.
I looked at the Tesseract and saw it had a good distribution of volume, but still had the donut thing going on. My stock Prism wing is similar, but I got tired of having it bunched up under and wanted to streamline things. So far so good with the Zeagle.
All that being said, the Tesseract might be a good choice for any unit with more height, maybe with the Meg. But I can't understand why more wing makers aren't trying to make a wing with the volume low and closer to the body... -Andy
