The good thing about rebreathers is that they tend to hold their value quite well. I've had 7 so far and I'm happy with the value I've got diving them for a while then selling them for most of what I paid for them.
I didn't do very well on my CCR 2000s

But even then I got a lot of the money back.
The other thing is that they are all usable. Some will fit your diving better than others, but they all get the job done.
You'll probably find that you don't know what you want until you have 100 hours on one of them.
