Thanks for nice welcome. I will ask one rookie question.

(Probably stupid one) .Why some rebreather tube-hoses (whatever its called) are so long. I have seen some underwater photos where hose is higher than divers head. Is there a reason why they are so long? I understand that you can use weights to bring it down, but I would like to know if there is a specific reason for it. Thanks you.
