how much lead weight?

hello guys,

i was wondering how much weight in general do divers carry with them in order to be effectively " cool" underwater.
i know that it deppends on many factors, but just a question in general. i seem to have the impression that for some reason i need a lot of weights, i.e i need something like 13KG just to be on the edge. i am 189cm height, 92kg weight. its just that i am having a bit of difficulty now, in order to spead the weight on my unit, as i dont like to have a belt.

Please do not think of me as someone who makes such a "dumb" question. i want to see if there are others who have the same problem as me. i need these kgs just to keep me underwater, which makes me having my dry suit relatively empty of air, which then leads to trouble moving around, and just to give you a small example of how hard this situation is getting, i seem to be affected even by the adding of the orifice to the lung. so each time i feel the orifice letting air in the lung i seem to be affected in moving upwords.

I would appreciate to hear comments from people who have the same problem or how they solved theirs.

Thanks in advance about this.

Spyros
