| First cold water rebreather dive
Managed to get in the water today. What a diffrence breathing gas in a rebreather loop compared to an open circuit ice dive !!! Machine worked great, gloves didn't, cut the dive short due to cold hands but managed to get the unit wet and see if my harness mods worked out. Have a few things to tweak and then should be off to the races. The biggest problem im having is with the sidemounted bailout. Can't seem to get the bungies just right, The tank slips out after a short swim. Guess I either need to shorten them up or add a bolt snap...
We had high winds today so the toughest part was getting de-kitted. Everything from clips to quick disconnects froze in the short walk from shore to the van. |
