When I still lived in Holland I usually booked a last minute package and when arriving in sharm or hugharda depending where the boat left from, quickly went over to the hotel to tell them I wasn't going to stay.
It always worked out cheaper then a flight alone.
Funny how it's cheaper to book a package and leave the hotel room empty.
