Re: MK 15 or CCR1000 counterlung diameter and depth

Thanks for the info. The depth sounds about right, now I just need the diameter.

FYI, the reason I ask is that I may have found a replacement CL for my BMR 500 (from a mk 15 - it needs to be patched though as it apparently it has a small hole in it) to solve the exact same problem you describe about not being able to get a full breath w/o triggering the ADV on inhale and the opv / exhaust valve on exhale. Just trying to determine if the MK 15 lung has the same diameter to see if it will fit the BMR.

Leon at ISC told me that some BMR's had this problem and that a quick solution is to raise the center section slightly (about a 1/4"), which is easily done on the BMR by making small spacers that fit under the center section brackets. I am concerned that doing so will increase the WOB though.

Anyone know the diameter of the MK 15 lung?

BTW, Dave, did you get a chance to measure the threads of the MK 15 loop hose connectors?

Thanks again,

Marc
